One day I am going to make Nate regret giving me carte blance to colour any of his pictures. But I think today is not that day.

Optimus Prime has been a hero of mine from Childhood. At 4 I cried a small puddle when he died in the Transformers movie (the 1984 one) and the first CD I ever bought was the soundtrack to said animated movie. As a kid my parents used heroes like Prime and Spider-man to teach me morals, I learned a lot from Prime, how you don't back down, how you try diplomacy first before action. My first triumph in colouring was a comic of a scene in the Transformers movie, drawn again by Nate. This project felt a little bit like I was coming home.

To many of my friends Ash was the peak of my colouring, and I have since done two others which I am very proud of but have not garnered the same reaction. part of me felt that Ash was a fluke and my colouring would be mediocre ever since which, for even this amatuer colourist, hurts a little.

I am not worried anymore. To me, this has to be my favourite colouring to date. Enjoy.
