A couple winters back I went to Florida to clear my head for a few days, I stayed with a friend who took me out with her friends to se the Golden Compass. I have to say, I wasn't sold. Fast forward several months and my dear friend Amy lends me her copy of the novel. I was substantially impressed.

Fast forward again and I find this lineart [link] by Alesinsobrenombre [link] who thanked me for faving it and then faved some of my work in return so I took the chance and asked if he'd be ok with colouring this. Well you can see he agreed and I whipped this one up.

I went back to the book and found Serafina to be blonde and pale skinned, I don't think I made her pale enough but I honestly think if I pushed the skin paler then the shading would be lost, I also coloured in some catgut and an arrow that wasn't in the lines, I also made the dress a touch see through as it came naturally to do so. For all the male Serafina fans out there, you're welcome.

I am very pleased with this colouring and hope the artist likes it also.
