So, I went ahead and surprised myself by colouring two pictures in one week! My goodness you'd think I had a taste for it or something

I have been watching Fooray [link] ever since I came to DA. He is simply one of the best artist here and I must admit a subject for awe to an amateur such as myself. Foo (for short) threw up an inked lineart of The Scarlet Spider, or at least a new rendition of the character. AS a Spider-man fan for years I loved the Scarlet Spider and Ben Reilly, Peter Parkers clone, who was a great character. Now I am told this design is for a new character (created by Foo) to wear the tights but when he put in his comments "hi-res is downloadable incase anyone cares to crayola him.. ill put a color ref link here at the bottom just incase heh.." well it sounded like an open invite and I sat for a minute thinking "Dare I give it go" while my body has already taken over and was downloading the picture. Can't tell you if it was an image copy or I downloaded the hi-red but it was in my documents for three days waiting.

I am very proud of this. The webbing could have been better, but again, I'm an amateur colourist.

Double Edit: In case any of you were wondering I made the "cover" out of 2 old Spider-man logo's (and a bloody long time getting them positioned right, coloured, shadowed, stroked etc) the barcode is half of the barcode from issue 569 of The Amazing Spider-man (as I had it to hand) and the issue number? Well that's the American version of my wife's birthday, 25th of July.
